Canola futures finished higher on drawing support from a sharp rally in crude oil and Prairie harvest delays.
Crude gained amid as disruptions to Saudi Arabian exports and continued Middle East tensions heightened concerns about global energy supplies. Meanwhile, wet Prairie harvest conditions also helped underpin prices. Fresh rain across Saskatchewan and Manitoba early this week is expected to keep some producers out of fields for several more days, World Weather said today.
November was up $6.30 at $829.30, and January climbed $6.60 to $840.90.
